Install & launch ClassSwift app

Download and install ClassSwift to start managing your classes and students seamlessly. Follow the steps below to set up and launch the app on your device.

Installation prerequisites

Ensure you have completed your setup in the ClassSwift Hub, including configuring classes and student lists.

Download and install ClassSwift

To install ClassSwift, follow these steps:

  1. Download the Installer
    Choose one of the following options to download the installer:
  • ClassSwift App Only
    Download the standalone ClassSwift App here.
    Use this option if myViewBoard v3 is already installed on your device.
  • Bundled Installer (myViewBoard v3 + ClassSwift)
    Download the bundled installer here.
    The system will automatically detect your setup:
  • If myViewBoard v3 is installed, only ClassSwift will be installed.
  • If neither app is installed, both myViewBoard v3 and ClassSwift will be installed.

 

  1. Locate the Installer
    Open your Downloads folder and find the downloaded file:
    • ClassSwiftInstaller-en.exe (standalone)
    • myViewBoard and ClassSwift.msi (bundled)
       
  2. Run the Installer 
    Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the process.
     
  3. Complete Setup
    Once the installation is finished, ClassSwift will be ready to use on your device.

Launch ClassSwift

You can launch ClassSwift using one of the following methods:

  • From Your Desktop
    Double-click the ClassSwift shortcut to open the app directly.
  • From myViewBoard v3 (on a Windows slot-in PC connected to a ViewBoard interactive display):
  1. Open myViewBoard.
  2. On an empty area of the canvas, perform one of the following:
    • On an interactive display: Long-press, or 
    • On a Windows computer: Right-click, then open the Magic Box.
  3. Select the ClassSwift icon to launch the app.

Note
If ClassSwift is not installed, selecting the ClassSwift icon will auto-start the installation process.
