Push-and-Respond
Send sketch-based prompts (diagrams, handwriting, math) and collect student submissions in real time using the Push-and-Respond feature. This tool allows you to share content, target specific groups, and provide feedback efficiently.
Sending Prompts and Collecting Submissions
To send prompts and manage student submissions, follow these steps:

Open Push-and-Respond Click the paper-plane icon on the in-class toolbar to access Push-and-Respond.

Add Content Click + and choose one of the following options:
- Select Content: Capture or upload an image/screenshot (e.g., a diagram for annotation).
- Link: Paste a webpage or YouTube URL for students to open.
You can add multiple items, and each will appear as a card.

Select Cards Click the card(s) you want to use to ensure they are checked/selected.

Choose Recipients
- To all: Send the content to the entire class.
- Custom Push: Target specific individual students or groups. Choose whether to send Single or Multiple content, then confirm.

Review Submissions Navigate to the Records tab (or it will open automatically). As students submit their work:
- Click a student’s card to annotate/mark and provide feedback.
- Click Send & Save to return feedback and save the latest version.

Use Records Controls Utilize the controls in the Records tab to manage submissions:
- Award stars: Recognize individual responses or add a star to all submissions.
- Label as Marked: Finalize reviewed work.
- Sort By: Organize submissions by status, name, or other criteria.

End Tasks
- Click End task to stop receiving submissions for the current prompt.
- Click End all tasks to stop all active prompts.
Tips for Effective Use
- Use Custom Push to differentiate tasks (e.g., easier or harder versions for specific groups).
- Ensure screenshots are high-contrast to make student annotations more visible.
- Use the Multiple content option to send a short set of problems in one go.
