Create and assign Profiles
Profiles are templates that admins use to deploy identical settings to one or more devices. Profiles are convenient for the following use cases:
- Set devices with the same time for startup, shutdown, and firmware updates.
- Revert device settings back to a baseline parameter after experimentation.
- Customize groups of devices with unique settings to align with the specific schedules of their locations.
- Easily apply a standard configuration when moving new devices to another area.
Note that users can still modify device settings individually after applying a Profile.
Create a new Profile
Launch Manager and perform the following:Â
- Click the  Menu to open the side panel.
- Click the  Profiles option.
- Click the  Create new button to launch the Create Profile page.
- On the Create Profile page.
- Only the Profile section is required. Specify a name and description that is easily identifiable for future reuse.
- Configure the remaining sections, or keep the default values.Â
For more info on the available options, see the next section below.
- Click OK once all sections have been customized to your requirements.
- The new profile should now display at the top of the Profiles list.
